Kartagon

KARTAGON is the Swiss dark-electronic / synthpop duo Hannes[B] and Thomas Daverio, a musical collaboration that began in 1990. Initially known as PANIC ON THE TITANIC, they released three CD albums (1992-1996). In 2003, KARTAGON debuted with "Natural Instincts" featuring singles "Pure Love" & "The Hunter". Following years were dedicated to Thomas producing 2 albums for the Swiss band FAQ. When KARTAGON returned to the studio in early 2011, they invited contributors like Tilo Wolff (Lacrimosa) as guest-vocalist on "Messiah", Swiss pop-soul singer Nubya on "One Day" and Daniel Myer (Haujobb / Covenant) as producer. The album "In the Clinic" was released in 2013. In 2015 KARTAGON joined LACRIMOSA on their Mexico tour. Live videos are available on this YouTube channel, incl. a duet-version of "Messiah" with Tilo Wolff. KARTAGON once again supported LACRIMOSA in 2019 for a few shows in Russia, Mexico and Germany. This tour also marked the first live performances of Tilo Wolff's side-project SNAKESKIN, featuring opera singer Kerstin Doelle, Hannes & Thomas. This musical partnership was further extended into the studio and culminated in the 4th SNAKESKIN album "Medusa's Spell" (released early 2020). Starting 2025, during a month-long hideaway session KARTAGON crafted new tracks, which are currently being produced by industrial scene icon VASI VALLIS. After "LOST IN THE FIRE" and "DARLING", the 3rd single "SPACE" is OUT NOW! Stay tuned for the full album in early 2026.
