Kolm

Kolm is a progressive rock band from Los Angeles, blending immersive soundscapes, complex rhythms, and layered riffs into evolving musical journeys. Formed in 2010 by Giorg Yela and Mikal Baker, the band has continued to evolve through lineup changes and an ongoing exploration of sound and form. Their music combines heavy riffs, ambient layers, world instrumentation, and melodic vocals to create a distinct sonic identity rooted in experimentation and emotional depth. After releasing their crowdfunded debut album Umbra in 2018, Kolm has steadily expanded its live presence and fanbase in the Los Angeles music scene. With a second album scheduled for release in 2025, new material, and live performances on the horizon, Kolm continues to push forward on its evolving creative path.
