After finding acclaim as one half of The Eviltwinz in the late 90s, The Real MPK was quickly anoited to a position of Dominican Republic rap royalty, Having dropped, bleak and uncompromising rhymes that helped usher in the thug rap era, The Real MPK went to establish his solo ambitions with 2019 The Hustler, Headed up by the Jotabit- produced "Florian Felix", MPK used the album as an opportunity to balance his menacing flow with moments of introspection and deep thought. Maybe most impressive is that both in and outside of The Eviltwinz output, The Real MPK's Voice remains distinct and formidable.
