Peter Janson

A standout in contemporary music, Janson seamlessly blends the depth of great jazz with the elegance of classical music. It is a sophisticated and inviting experience presented in a unique and accessible style. ARTISTIC PHILOSOPHY “As a musician, I have continually grown through the exploration of diverse genres, but it is jazz’s form, language, and sensibility that have ultimately called me back. I thrive in the freedom of improvisation and solo performance, where I can merge traditional elements with acoustic nylon-string sounds, modern tools, and spontaneous expression. To me, music is an extension of life itself — whether I'm performing, reading a novel, or teaching a student, all of it is connected.”
