ETHR

ETHR (pronounced /ether/) is the solo project of composer and producer Manu Torres (Alicante, 1995). Halfway between contemporary ambient and experimental electronic music, his compositions are characterized by an instrospective style aimed at active listening. Contrasting melodic sequences typical of minimalism, with extremely saturated bass lines, his work is often defined by the use of a few resources taken to the limit. ETHR's approach to music and sound design has caught the attention of media such as DJ Mag Spain, Clubbing Spain or Electronic Groove, as well as of other artists with whom he has collaborated through his own studio, Little Island - Sound Lab. A good example of this is his recent collaboration with Joana Dark , whose joint work has led them to tour several cycles and renowned festivals such as Eufònic Festival, Festival Grec or La Mercè (Barcelona).
