Western Jaguar is the DIY indie pop project of JC Trainor. Western Jaguar blends dreamy guitars and synths, emotive vocal layers, and self-produced soundscapes into intimate, atmospheric songs about life, loss and love. Taking influence from artists such as The 1975, The War On Drugs, Allvays and Lany, Western Jaguar's sonic footprint creates an unmatched mix of indie pop and atmospheric rock. A true independent artist, Western Jaguar embraces a hands-on approach, with Trainor frequently writing, recording, mixing, and producing his work himself. This DIY ethos is especially evident in releases like Kaleidoscope (2025) and Vacationland (2024), which showcase his ability to merge polished pop sensibilities with deeply personal storytelling.
