I never really knew how to explain myself to people. Some feelings are easier to turn into music than into conversations. I grew up surrounded by silence, late nights, old movies, empty streets, and the strange feeling of never fully belonging anywhere. Music became the only place where things made sense to me. I started recording songs alone, usually at night, trying to transform emotions I couldn’t explain into something people could feel. Most of my songs are about memory, distance, loneliness, love, emotional numbness, and the strange beauty hidden inside sadness. I think a lot of people carry feelings they never talk about. Maybe that’s why they connect with my music. I’ve never wanted to feel like a celebrity or someone unreachable. I just wanted to create songs that feel honest. Songs that sound like late-night thoughts. Songs that stay with you after everything gets quiet again. A lot of people ask me who Anne Bloom really is. The truth is… Anne Bloom is probably every version of myself I was too afraid to show before. I don’t always explain the meaning behind my songs because I think music becomes more personal when people find their own memories inside it. If my music ever made you feel understood, even for a few minutes, then maybe we were never really alone after all.
