My Journey... Crossing the mountains amidst the wars of Rwanda, Central Africa, in pursuit of freedom still remains an intense memory for me. I never thought I would survive and escape the siege. I was alive and my dream became every breath of my life! My genre of Music is a World Fusion of various rhythms in different languages. My songs are of inner strength, love and forgiveness. I hope that these songs touch your hearts and soul. I express my multicultural African roots with a mixture of sounds of Jazz, Pop, Rock, Funk, Soul and Rap. My style of music uses many instruments such as the Sitars, Tablas, Middle Eastern Percussions, African Djembe, Tablas & Dhols, integrated with Western Sounds. As a young girl, I always wanted to sing and write songs. Music has been a form of prayers and a journey of healing. Keeping a dream alive amidst trials and tribulations has not been an easy task, but dreams do come true!...so never give up!! 1.
