Randy Sauer

Randy Sauer (Jammin' Randy) is an award winning children's singer/songwriter, teacher, entertainer, presenter, and recording artist from Hays, KS. He performs original award-winning songs for kids and families at schools, libraries, and festivals throughout Kansas, Oklahoma, Nebraska and Colorado. He loves inspiring kids to be the best person they can be and to treat others with kindness. His audiences love to clap, sing, wiggle, and dance to all the fun songs! Born and raised in Norton Kansas, Randy was involved with music all throughout his school years. His love of music eventually led him to attend Fort Hays State University, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education. He later earned his Master’s Degree, with an emphasis in music composition and recording. Presently, Randy is a Music Teacher in WaKeeney Kansas and teaches Elementary Music and 6-12 Instrumental Music. He was selected as the 2013 - 2014 and 2019-2020 Outstanding Elementary Music Teacher by the Northwest Kansas Music Educators Association. Randy has won over 40 Children's Songwriting Awards. In 2018 the "Moving To The ABC's" CD won Creative Child's Magazines "Preschool Educational CD of the Year" In 2016 Randy changed the name of his show from "Randy's Music Jam" to "Jammin' Randy". Many of the kids at the library shows and birthday parties know Randy as "Jammin' Randy" and it is a little easier to remember than Randy's Music Jam!
