CKay

Global Afrobeats sensation CKay has redefined modern Afrobeats with his signature "Emo-Afrobeats" sound, fusing African rhythms with raw, heartfelt emotion. The Nigerian-born singer, songwriter, and producer skyrocketed to fame with his global smash "Love Nwantiti," which topped charts in over 30 countries, held the #1 spot on the global Shazam charts for over two months, and racked up more than 2 billion streams across platforms. CKay became the first African artist with two tracks simultaneously on Spotify’s Global Top 30, cementing his status as a global star. Following his critically acclaimed debut album Sad Romance—which has amassed over 400 million streams—CKay returns with his highly anticipated sophomore project, EMOTIONS. The 11-track album explores themes of personal growth, love, and self-reflection, blending traditional African instrumentation, such as the Oja flute, with contemporary electronic beats. Tracks like EMOTIONS showcase CKay’s continued evolution as an artist and producer. “At its core, EMOTIONS is about vulnerability and growth,” CKay shares. “It’s a snapshot of where I’ve been and where I’m going, both as an artist and as a person.” With over 4 billion global streams and hits like Emiliana and HALLELUJAH, CKay continues to push boundaries, solidifying his place as one of Afrobeats’ most influential artists.
