Buka Chimey

Buka Chimey is a Ugandan multi award winning recording and performing artist, creative thinker, poet, composer and founder of Bantu Clan the first Hip Hop Band in Uganda. My music discipline is fusion (an intermarriage of genres) and my primary genre is Hip Hop/Rap. As a musician I am on a quest to unify cultures, celebrate life, express consciousness through touching emotions and my life purpose is to restore my generation to reconnect to its indigenous roots through creating, building, educating and archiving.
