Robby returns to the studio after an eight-to-the-bar interlude, with a new album titled RHYTHMS OF RESILIENCE. The first single, “WHERE THUNDER FINDS HER,” a poignant true-crime ballad, honors the lives of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls. Released on May 1st, in observance of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Peoples Awareness Month, it serves as a “Call to Action” to end this tragic crisis. Robby rose to prominence with the global broadcast of his first music picture campaign, “IS IT TOO LATE,” and his United Nations Ambassador of Youth for the Environment designation. In 1993, his Indigenous stereotype-breaking public service announcements won the CableAce Award as part of MTV’s “Free Your Mind” campaign. His music pictures introduced Native Rock Music to the music television generation, and his VH1 World Alert Special, “Makoce Wakan: Sacred Earth,” had the highest viewer response of any show on the network. By the end of the decade, Robby’s campaigns, accolades, and cultural honors solidified his unique position in the industry. For over three decades Robby has used art to bridge the gap between Indigenous Peoples, human rights, and the environment through his non-profit, Native Children’s Survival, an Indigenous Peoples Organization in Special Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic & Social Council (ECOSOC).
